As an individual who wants to go to Colorado, you have likely read up on green cards. You also know that not everyone can apply for a green card. Employment-based green cards only cover several categories of individuals.

EB-1, EB-2 and EB-3
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services discusses eligibility categories for green cards. There are several categories. The first are EB-1: priority workers. This includes researchers or college professors that do outstanding work. It also includes the transfer of business managers or executives. They are transferring to a branch in another country. This category also contains any athletes, artists or other performers.
EB-2 includes professionals with “advanced degrees or exceptional abilities”. This includes professionals with advanced degrees. It also includes those who excel in the arts or sciences. EB-3 category is for professional or skilled workers. This category is for people with high skills who do not have bachelor’s degrees. Unskilled workers may also fall under this category.
EB-4 and EB-5
EB-4 contains special immigrant classes, such as religious workers. It also includes any former or current employees of the U.S. government who are living abroad. Finally, there is EB-5. This category includes immigrant investors. In other words, people who are seeking green cards in relation to an enterprise or a business pursuit.
